I really should be in bed by now!

Tomorrow morning (at the cruel hour of 5 am) we are leaving on a long weekend trip to the beach in the South of Thailand. A few years ago Konrad and I spend 8 months living in Krabi. We can't wait to go back to see and experience it again.

Konrad has been daydreaming about returning to the quaint little breakfast place we came to love there. Let's hope they still make their amazing Welch Rarebit.

I am super excited about taking Olivia to the beach. She has dipped her toes in the ocean before during a quick layover in Vancouver, but this will be the first time we get to play in the sand. Maybe we'll even attempt building a sandcastle.

My sister is also coming with us and we plan to make this a real family trip. For us this means no laptops! For the first time in my blogging career, I actually got organized and scheduled some posts to go out while I am on vacation. But we have also decided that phones are ok, to check on emergency emails.
