Homemade Teething Biscuits

All-natural homemade Teething Biscuits with NO sugar will bring soothing relief to a teething baby's sore gums.

  • 3/4 cup spelt flour or other organic, whole-grain flour
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour or ground flax or chia seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon each cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla
  • 1/2 cup banana mashed
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil melted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a medium bowl whisk together dry ingredients.
  3. Add mashed banana and melted coconut oil and knead into a dough.
  4. With wet or oiled hands shape into biscuits. You could do a 'stubby finger' shape. I made mine into an oblong shape that perfectly fits little hands and mouths.
  5. Place biscuits onto a baking sheet and bake 30-45 minutes.
  6. Store biscuits uncovered for about 24 hours to dry and harden them more.
  7. You can also offer them frozen for further relief of sore gums.
