Let's make fluffy Instant Pot White Rice with perfectly separated grains and nothing sticking to the bottom of the pot. This recipe works for different types of long grain rice like Jasmine or Basmati rice.
2cupbrothchicken or vegetable (or water + bouillon cube/paste)

Instructions
Press Sauté. When hot, add butter.
Once melted, stir in the white rice and toast for a minute.
Press Cancel. Stir in water or broth.
Close the pressure cooker lid and turn the pressure valve to sealing position. Cook on high pressure for 5-9 minutes (see cooking times section in post).*
Once the cooking time is up, quick release the pressure. Natural release is fine too if you aren't in a rush to get dinner on the table.
Then open the lid and fluff up the rice with a fork, wooden spoon or rice paddle.
Serve right away or close lid and keep warm until ready to serve.

*the pressure cooker will take 5-8 minutes to pressurize before the cook timer starts counting down
