Instructions
Make a matcha shot by dissolving 1 teaspoon of ceremonial grade matcha powder in 1 ounce of hot (not boiling) water. Use a whisk, frothing wand, or milk foamer to thoroughly blend the water and matcha.
Then set aside to cool while preparing the rest of the drink.
To a large tall glass (16-20 oz) add ice cubes, apple juice or apple cider, and sparkling water. Use about 4-6 ounces (½-3/4 cup) each.
Pour the matcha shot over top to complete the sparkling apple matcha drink. Use a long cocktail spoon or straw to stir the liquids to combine.
Taste and adjust to personal preference. Add more sparkling water for extra fizz or more juice to make a sweeter beverage.
Enjoy soon after preparing.
