Instant Pot Duo Plus
If you have read or made any of my Instant Pot recipes you know already how much I love this wonderful
kitchen appliance. I have a hard time not gushing about all of its awesome features anytime I talk about the Instant Pot.
And recently I've had the pleasure of trying out the DUO Plus 60. The sleek new display and more smart functions make this a great upgraded model.
Perfect for gifting to any foodie or cook or if you are toying with the thought of getting a second one for yourself.

Butcher Box
I love actually useful gifts best of all. And what would be more useful than quality meat.
Butcher Box is a fantastic subscription service that sends you your monthly supply of meat (beef, pork, chicken) to your doorstep. And you can be sure that all of it is high quality and humanely raised (grass-fed for beef) without antibiotics or hormones.
Whether you want to give your family the gift of quality meat for the year, or send just one box to a friend, Butcher Box is the perfect fit.
And if you order in the month of December using this link you will also receive a FREE holiday spiral ham with your first shipment. Order by 12/17 to receive before Christmas.

Marquette Castings Dutch Oven
Marquette Castings make quality affordable cast iron cookware. I have their red 6-quart Dutch oven and it has become my favorite cooking pot for everything from soups & stews, to pasta sauces and sourdough bread.
It is fantastic for the stovetop and oven! I have the iron red one, but they also come in petoskey gray, shipwreck navy, superior blue, and matte white (I SO want a second one in that colour).
Their Dutch ovens come in the 6-quart size that I have and also in a smaller 4-quart size.

Green & Black's Organic Chocolate
Another super 'useful' food ingredient is of course chocolate! From snacking to baking - there is always good use for chocolate.
Personally, I love Green & Black's organic chocolate bars. I love especially their creative dark chocolate flavors like burnt toffee and hazelnut currant.
I use Green & Black's chocolate in my baking recipes too, like my No-Bake Chocolate tart or these Pumpkin Brownies.

Lemon Lime Squeezer
This lemon-lime squeezer is in use literally EVERY.SINGLE.DAY in our house! I guess we use a LOT of lime.
I love that it can squeeze several sizes of citrus fruits thanks to the movable center pieces. The squeezer also collects any seeds and lets only the fresh squeezed juice pass through.
Have a friend who loves from-scratch margaritas? They NEED this squeezer!

Cuisinart Food Processor
The other appliance I keep gushing about and believe everyone should own is a Cuisinart Food Processor! From making homemade nut butters and nice cream with ease, to shredding vegetables for soups and salads, and even kneading dough.
I use mine for ALL of the above!
If you or someone you know needs this kitchen wondermachine

Better Body Foods Mayo
This Avocado Oil Mayo from Better Body Foods is my healthier food find of the year! And while it may seem a little unusual to give mayo as a gift, all your healthy foodie friends will be over the moon.
Finding non-GMO, soy and canola-free mayo that actually tastes good is near impossible - unless you make it yourself. This one also comes in Lime and Chipotle flavor varieties.
If you have a crunchy friend who loves mayo, get them this

Bee's Wrap
We have made big efforts this year to reduce our single-use plastic consumption as a family. As part of that effort I got Bee's Wraps.
They can be used instead of plastic wrap to cover bowls and containers. And can also replace sandwich baggies to wrap lunch foods.
I believe this plastic wrap alternative should be part of every household!
Produce Bags
Another thing we started using, I believe everyone should do, are reusable mesh produce bags. I just carry them inside my reusable shopping bags so that there is no temptation to go for the plastic convenience.
(I just haven't quite figured out a fool-proof way to NEVER forget my shopping bags).
This great set of mesh bags has cinchable tops and even the weight of the bag is printed on the small tag.

Stasher Bags
And my final recommendation for a useful, thoughtful foodie gift are these Stasher bags. These reusable silicone bags are a good alternative to plastic freezer and sandwich bags.
Everyone should have a stash of Stashers 😉 They are not exactly cheap, so receiving them as a gift is perfect!

Pasta Machine
I love this electric Philips Pasta Machine. I have used and reviewed different pasta makers, and for ease of use this one definitely wins out.
Any pasta loving foodie will love being able to have homemade noodles without having to knead and roll out dough. Then hand cranking or cutting by hand.
This machine does it all. Just add the ingredients through the chute on the top. Then it will knead the dough and extrude it in one of 4 different shapes.
