Changes around here

You may have noticed that things are looking a little different around here - most obviously the NAME! Yes, I am super happy to announce that SpecialtyCakeCreations is now LeelaLicious.

Why?

I think we can all agree that SpecialtyCakeCreations is really long and awkward. It served its purpose back in the day when my website was supporting my cake business. But it has outgrown that purpose for a long time already.

What's LeelaLicious?

A combination of my love for delicious food, the color purple and frangipani flowers.

Well, it's a word I made up. Leela comes from Leelawadee which is the Thai word for my favorite frangipani flowers. See them in the new logo above?

Also, leela sounds like the German word for purple. See that color around here too?

And then this blog is still all about food which of course is deLICIOUS!

What else is changing?

This is still the same site with all the previous content available. Even if you still enter the old URL, you will just be redirected to this new one. So any older links should all still work.

And it is still me, Regina, writing and photographing and cooking around here. Yes, indeed I will be sharing occasional savory recipes too. But no need to worry, baking is still my main passion 🙂

Please have patience

I am doing my best to make this transition  as smooth as possible. There are some changes and improvements that will take some time to implement and it will probably take me a little while to update the name/URL on all social media channels. So glitches are bound to occur.

If you notice any page or function not working properly, please let me know and I will fix it as soon as possible.

Otherwise, I hope you are as excited as me about the new look, name and direction for this site. I see many leelalicious recipes in the future!
